Position Details:

• Grade Levels: Middle School
• Location: Boulder County, Colorado, United States, 40 hours per week, onsite, school year

Special Education Teacher Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive classroom experiences.
• Adapt lessons and materials to support diverse learners, including those with disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Support social-emotional development and foster a positive classroom environment.

Special Education Teacher Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado teaching license with endorsement in special education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in an inclusive setting.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet varied needs.
